Blue Eclipse Design

Blue Eclipse Design is run by a brother-sister team hailing out of historic Lexington, VA. While Laura has pursued art from a young age, Jeffrey has studied computer science and web programming for many years. Working together, they have completed and continue to maintain many websites and graphic projects. They decided to merge their talents and form Blue Eclipse Design in 2006.

Web Designer / Computer Graphic Artist

Jeffrey currently attends Longwood University in Virginia, majoring in Computer Science. He has taken basic art courses and has extensive experience in industry-leading applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, and Flash. He is also highly proficient in HTML, CSS, XML, Javascript, and PHP. He was the lead designer/scripter in two state-wide website design team competitions, winning first place both times, and finalizing nationally.

Illustrator / Creative Director

Laura will graduate this May with a BA in Scientific Illustration from the University of Georgia's Lamar-Dodd School of Art. She has taken courses in electronic design, typography, and photography, and she has a strong background in anatomy and biology. She has extensive experience in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Dreamweaver. Her work has been displayed in Virginia, Georgia, and England, and she assisted in opening and expanding Studio 11, an art gallery/studio school in Lexington, Virginia. She is a member of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators.
